GARY NUTTALL - UNDER THE MICROSCOPE
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v630/1madlady/Gary_Leaving5_Thumb.jpg
Besides the fact that he is Robbie’s longest serving band member, not much is known about the tall, dark, silent, handsome talented guitarist we all know as Gary Nuttall.

So how did it all start for Gary, the man who wrote and produced one of my favourite Robbie b-sides, Often.
The early days
Gary, a Liverpudlian used to play the keyboards in Chesney Hawkes' band. He then joined a band called Spin Out (circa 1989-1991) as their guitarist. Around 1994/ December 1995, Gary joined a band called FACE

FACE
There were no official releases by the band according to sources, but the band did perform live. They played many sold-out gigs at places like the Underworld club in the World's End Pub, Camden Town.
In June 2000, Gary joined his former band members Zak, John Entwistle and Rabbit, for a short set of Rock Classics at the Tony Ashton Testimonial Concert. (Tony Ashton was very involved and connected to one of my favourite bands from the 70’s, Deep Purple)
Back to the future
1997 – 2007 A DECADE!
Gary joined Robbie in March 1997. He has played & sang on all but two of Robbie's albums, contributing to some of his best-known tracks including 'Angels' (acoustic guitar & background vocals), 'No Regrets' (guitar) and 'Feel' (guitar & background vocals).

Gary also plays the electric banjo on the album ‘’Sing when you’re winning’’.
As well as playing with Rob, Gary has been involved in various projects, highlights of which include one-off gigs with the late, great John Entwistle & the legendary Ringo Starr. Gary recently played in the band that inducted Beatles producer George Martin into the UK Hall of Fame. Other band members included Roger Taylor on drums & Jose Gonzalez.
Gary also appears on:
Tony Ashton – Live at Abbey Road Vocals, Guitar
Geri Halliwell – Passion Vocals (Background)
Delta Goodrem - Mistaken Identity Vocals {Background)
Various Artists - Pepsi Chart 2002 Vocals (Background)
Kylie Minogue – Light Years Vocals (Background)
