Robbie Williams and his dogs
http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a116/themissus/robbie/with%20other%20people/with%20his%20dogs/dukeandsammy.jpg

Robbie Williams is a British singer that is a mega super star and is a real animal lover and owns three dogs. These are a German Shepherd name Rudy, a Mastiff called Duke and a wolf called Sid. Robbie loves his dogs and has taken them all over the world with him and still has all three dogs.

2000 interview Rob & Neil Tennent

"RW: And I thought, I can't have a small dog, because small dogs make you look as though you're not hard. So I chose two of the biggest fuck-off dogs in the world: two Great Danes, Missy and Busta. At the time I was moving into a new house, and my old place didn't have a garden, so these two dogs lived in my kitchen. And even at eight weeks old, they were the size of Labradors, and doing human-size turds. The first night they did twelve human-size turds, and my kitchen stank. The next day I woke, and they'd done another twelve--always twelve. By then I knew I wasn't going to be able to cope with it. So I went and gave the dogs back. And there was an eight-year-old girl there, who when I first went up to get the dogs, had clung to my leg and said, "Robbie, I love you!" And the next time I went back feeling deflated and beaten, she'd obviously been talking to her parents, and she grabbed my leg, looked up at me, and said [assumes taunting whisper], "You couldn't handle it, could ya?"

ROBBIE WILLIAMS has been forced to leave his beloved pet dogs in quarantine after fleeing back to America.

The lonely singer had flown his canine companions to Britain from Los Angeles in March because he missed them.

Then Robbie got bored in his rented Sussex mansion and decided to head back to his LA pile — leaving his precious pooches still cooped up.
Our quarantine laws insist any pet brought over from America has to spend SIX MONTHS in kennels under supervision before it can be released to the owner.

So Robbie, whose 2000 album was called Sing When You’re Winning, will have to wait another THREE MONTHS before his German shepherds are back home in LA.

An insider told me: “Robbie loves his dogs and he really missed them when he first came back home.

“He was supposed to be here until late autumn so he thought it would be worthwhile flying them over because he missed them so much.
“Then he just got itchy feet rattling around that big mansion on his own and realised he missed LA.

“He couldn’t take the dogs straight away because of quarantine rules. “But as soon as they are allowed to go, he’ll get them flown straight back.”

Just like other dog owners, Robbie had to get a health certificate issued by a vet to confirm his dogs were in good health and fit to travel to Britain.

He has a collection of dogs — mostly German shepherds — who stay with him at his sprawling Hollywood mansion.

He also has a wolf named Sid after the late SEX PISTOLS legend SID VICIOUS. Robbie is now back in America writing material for his sixth studio album. It isn’t expected out until some time next year.

As well as his new tunes and his on-going ambition to crack the US charts, Robbie is keen to make a name for himself on the big screen.
He recently made his movie debut as a wedding singer in De-Lovely, the new £10million musical drama about music legend COLE PORTER.
It also features big music names such as ELVIS COSTELLO, SHERYL CROW, MICK HUCKNALL and ALANIS MORISSETTE.

Robbie has also put his energies into getting back in shape after he piled on the pounds scoffing junk food.

In the last few months he has managed to shed 2st on the controversial Atkins Diet — and is looking better than ever.

However, his new lean frame hasn’t attracted any girlfriends since he split from ROD STEWART’s ex, RACHEL HUNTER, early last year. No wonder he misses his dogs . . .

Rob buys wolf

http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a116/themissus/robbie/with%20other%20people/with%20his%20dogs/dogs-1.jpg

DOG lover ROBBIE WILLIAMS is never one to do things by half – he has bought himself a pet WOLF.

The singer has named the creature Sid after the dead Sex Pistols legend SID VICIOUS.

A bit unfair on the wolf because despite their cruel reputation, they are gentle, intelligent creatures. And unlike certain rock stars they are faithful to their partners and mate for life.

Robbie is having a new place built near his Los Angeles mansion so Sid and his pack of dogs can live like pampered pooches.

At the moment, Sid roams free around Robbie’s sprawling home on a luxury, gated estate. But the star, who launched his European tour on Saturday night before 65,000 fans in Edinburgh, wants the wolf to have huge grounds.

A pal of the star said before the sell-out gig: “Robbie absolutely adores dogs. He loves their loyalty and the fact that they will never let you down.

“He is also obsessed with wolves. He thinks they are beautiful, intelligent and great companions.

“When he heard you can buy your own pet wolf in America, he leapt at the chance. Sid cost thousands of dollars but Robbie thinks he’s worth it. He thinks Sid is the mutt’s nuts.”

Or not. Because poor Sid has been neutered. Unlike Robbie.

That's what I have always thought and I continue to be puzzled about this.. Sid looks nothing like a wolf to me so I don't get it

Atleast there has to be a lot more Malamute in Sid than there is wolf. The tail is nothing like a wolf's tail either.

But thank you all for these pics, they're great! I love to see Rob with his dogs :) :)

if I remeber right it's Missy, he gave her away as she was shitting everywhere (if i remember right)

i don't have any animal, never had, just because i don't think i have the right life style - i'm traveling much...and i've always been afraid that i can get bored from having dog or cat...and i just can't give the animal away after i've taken it home...i think that if you have taken an animal you should keep him till death (yours or animals)

absolutely...I love animals but never had one untill I got my cat as a present back in 2002. Just after 2 months having it I was wondering how on Earth I could live without her before?!:mc3:

the only problem is when I leave home more than 2 days...have to find someone to take care of her....and I`m leaving for 10 days soon and really don`t know what I am going to do this time cause` no one is available yet....

and getting into the topic...I think it`s great that ROB still has his dogs...considering his hectic schedule :mc4:

i think that if you have taken an animal you should keep him till death (yours or animals)

ieva, usually I have the same opinion, too, and all dogs I keep from puppy on stay until they die.
I am breeding dogs now for nearly 14 years and sometimes I have to take a dog back, for various reasons (divorce, death of the owner, allergy of one family member) and I made the experience that even adult dogs can be given away quite easily, they get used to their new home soon if they are treated well.
I am sure Rob gave the puppy (which Missy still was) back to the breeder (if I am right her breeding name was "She's the one" and her father was called "Mr. Bojangles") or to someone who really took care of her. So it's fine by me. I have probs with ppl who buy animals (no matter if dogs, cats, rabbits or what ever....) and abandon them or leave them in the pound.

Rob would love the hotel I work for. It's called Great Wolf Lodge. http://www.greatwolf.com It has a woodsey theme and many wolf statues in the lobby and outside the entrance We sell wolf figurines in the gift shop. It mostly caters to families with children but he can always borrow his nephew or Jonny's kid.

I have to write down my thoughts on this one, Robbie is getting some criticism over his trips back and forth to L.A. to see their dogs, but I think it just proves that he is going to make a commitment to stay in the UK rather than L.A. because he knows that quarintine takes six months, if his intentions where to stay in the UK he would have started this process much earlier, so I think its a good indication that he now intends to stay in England on a permanent basis, if he is getting the dogs over shortly, I think that would mean they have made up their mind that things look like they can live a nice normal existence there and be extremely happy. Oh and does anybody know who Grandma Gwen is??????
