Robbie
I had to write just to let you know, (which you already do but so what), how amazing you were at the Leeds concert on the 9th September. Myself, my sister, her daughter and sister in law all travelled from Co Durham to Leeds. We found ourselves a decent enough spot in the park in front of the stage and awaited your entry with much anticipation.
What was to follow was "out of this world". Guess thats why you called it the Close Encounters Tour! This was our first Robbie concert, having not being able to get tickets to past venues, but we all agreed it was truely amazing. I was still on a high when I arrived back at work on Monday morning and today being Friday I am proudly wearing my Close Encounters T Shirt around the office, as we have a dress down policy on Friday which allows us to wear what we like and not the normal office attire. I feel proud to have been part of your show on Saturday and watched the televised event on Sunday, just to relive it all again.
Reading the press today they're saying you have canceled all four concerts in Asia as it will have a serious impact on your health coming so soon after the European and South American concerts.
Well if what they are saying is true then you must look after yourself. The Asian fans will be disappointed but I am more than sure they will understand and would rather see you stay fit and in good health. Nothing is more important in life than you health and happiness.
I hope you are enjoying the concerts in Milton Keynes and that your fans are appreciating you as much as we did in Leeds.
Well the weekend is approaching. Its not going to be as exciting a weekend as it was last weekend, I'm not going to see you! My 9 year old son is playing football for his local team tomorrow morning and we are playing the team at the top of the league, wish us luck! Perhaps you can give him some football tips sometime ;).
Take care and look after yourself Robbie. I'll let you know what the football result was next week.
