Hampden Park Glasgow Scotland 2nd Spetember 2006
Concert was good though stadium was packed we got in early and stood just in front of the camera pylon in the middle of the stadium was great until about 10 minutes before Robbie came out when everyone begun pushing etc.
Support bands, Orson were okay not my type of band did'nt have an much energetic performance but some of their music was good. Basement Jaxx really got the crowd going they were brilliant totally different from what i had expected i'm a fan but had thought they were only dj's was an excellent performance and everyone seemed to love them i also think the 2 woman from the band joined Robbie on stage as backing singers :)
Robbie, Was good missed the start trying to get out of where we were and get a seat when my wife was knakered got a seat and rested for 10 minutes then picked some good seats at the back of the stand with a perfect view :)
Entrance was really smart close encounters of the third kind music with the beeping and lights on stage then fireworks going off and fire you could feel the heat from the flames at the far end of the stadium would have been boiling in the front row lol.
He was very energetic jumping into the crowd wearing his Scotland shirt and shouting 6-0 everytime he got a chance and saying he could'nt believe it.
He was then talking about everyone flashing saying he'd seen more boobs tonight than he did throughout the whole of the world tour saying he was upto 12 boob flash's.
Jonathan came out and they did brilliant together had good energy together and did the football part of the show thats been mentioned said the score was 12-12 but the other parts of the world had'nt really understood they did'nt know who Jonathan Wilkes was and probably thought it was his boyfriend. Robbie Won after a poor kick from Jonathan.
Trying to remember what else happened lol He was talking about how his hotel was a rip off £16 for a bacon sandwich and how he was out in the bar last night and nobody was around and Robbie has needs. Mentioned how he loves Scotland and cant stand the English (Which i doubt anybody believed lol)
He picked out a girl from the crowd Brenda from fife and sung She's the one for her.
Sang some take that songs and said that he got asked to do the tour with them he says it pulled his heart strings but he's sold 3 million tickets on his own world tour and sold 50 million albums and then weighed it up. He then sang some take that songs sung Babe then said that one was a mistake was'nt it.
Came back on and sang Rudebox which quite a lot of people were dancing too then sung Angels went off and came back to do Kids dont know if he did another after that as we were parked in Hampden car park so did'nt want to stay behind and get stuck so we dashed after that.
Was a good night i preffered the last one at Murrayfield as there was more swing and he did the rock version of back for good there but his stage show was a lot better last night i feel.
He looked knakered and kept saying into the crowd that he was fucked but he did give a good show for the 2 hows he was on :)
