ROBBIE WILLIAMS SUPPORT ACTS NAMED

source: http://www.therobbiewilliamssite.com/ (http://www.therobbiewilliamssite.com/)

The Ordinary Boys and Basement Jaxx have been announced as support acts on Robbie Williams? World Tour.

Celebrity Big Brother star Preston?s band and dance act Basement Jaxx will join the star on the European leg of his 2006 extravaganza.
After a concert today at the ABSA Stadium in Durban, South Africa, Robbie will perform to more than 2.6 million fans worldwide.

The first of the 14 European dates will be in Dublin on June 9.
An announcement about the change of venue from England's Wembley Stadium ? following the building delays ? is expected later this month, when additional tickets will also be made available.

Robbie?s eighth album Intensive Care has topped the charts in 18 countries and sold 5.7 million copies to date.

Last year the former Take That singer smashed a Guinness World Record by selling more than 1.6 million concert tickets on the first day of sale, valued at an estimated £80m

apparantly on GMTV Preston said they werent doing any gigs this summer as they are concentration on a new album... the fans at their official board are still waiting for confirmation though. I think alot of them are glad they arent playing. I really liked them... oh well, dont really care about supports, dont intend to see them in many places if I can help it

Sorry not keen on the Ordinary Boys or Basement Jaxx for that matter.

Would much prefer just to have MORE robbie!!

Sugababes would be a great support act as I quite like them.

I don't like the Ordianary Boys, to be honest not sure if its my age but I hadn't even heard of them until big brother was on tv last year.
I too like Beautiful South, arent they already support act for robbie in one of his tours this year somewhere?

I'm disappointed that The Ordinary Boys have pulled out of Rob's tour, as they were the support act I was looking forward to seeing the most.

I just read on the IS that Orson is now playing on June 9th at Dublin. Not sure if they are doing the rest of the UK dates though.
