Multiple Concert - Comparison & Guide
http://www.purerobbie.com/photoplog/images/1/medium/3_normal_IMG_0354.jpg
Many ppl after finding out about my Bobbie tour this summer ask me: ?Hey, do these gigs differ? Or are they the same??
yes, the set list is the same (almost :)), but the feeling, THE FEEEEELLLIIIINNNGGGG??
so I decided to make my BOB TOP
with all the pros and cons for each gig
Dublin
Cons
1) 1st gig in European Tour (Rob is scared a bit)
2) ppl don?t sing along
3) as noone knows lyrics for new song, there?s silence in stadium for second
4) 1st big gig ? I?m too stupid to know how all the things go for getting best places
5) have single use camera (run out of film after first 2 songs)
6) Gondola thing doesn?t works ? Rob is pissed off for scrued show
Pros
1) golden circle ticket
2) 4th row from stage
3) 1st gig in European Tour
4) set list includes Place To Crash, No Regrets, Trouble With Me
5) possibility to have free gig once again :)
Gothenburg
Cons
1) crowd is so crazy and jumping that my smart camera takes shitty pics :)
2) Rob passes by, but have no luck to touch him
Pros
1) meeting HotFudge, Jenny, RedLisa
2) 3rd row from stage ? had 2nd, but RedLisa is smaller, so I let her in front of me
3) totally crazy crowd ? oi oi oi oi oi oi oi oi oi :)
4) set list includes Place To Crash, No Regrets, Trouble With Me (not sure, but I guess it was)
Milan
Cons
1) tickets turn out to be seats :(
2) Rob is ill and sometimes I can feel it ? he can?t be there for 100%
3) Not full set list - no Place To Crash, No Regrets, Trouble With Me (maybe because Rob?s ill)
4) WC are terrible ? haevn?t seen smth like that since Soviet times and it?s 16 years since that
Pros
1) totally free trip ? LONG LIVE COLGATE :)
2) Rob is blast
3) Crowd is unbelievable ? we are champions del Mondo?.:)
Berlin, Day 1
Cons
1) battery of camera runs out in middle of gig
2) Rob doesn?t sees my flag and glittering horns
3) Don?t hear the crowd
4) Smtimes it seams ppl next to don?t know lyrics
5) Shortened set list
Pros
1) after long day and great run ? 1st ROW!!!!
2) Rob?s great as always
3) I know there?s Latvians smhwere (met them in plane)
Berlin, Day 2
Cons
1) I?m in middle of crowd (ok it?s my choice as I wanted to spent day with job mates)
2) Shortened set list
3) It rains a bit
Pros
1) I?m not only Latvian (we are really many there)
2) Job mates notice Lithuanian flag
3) Rob notices poster ?come to Estonia? and kind a promises to come if that girl makes better poster next time :)
4) It rains a bit
5) Rob smashes my head off (sooooo fucking great he is)
6) Crowd is amaizing
So if to compare all pros and cons, my BOB TOP is as follows:
1. Milan
2. Gothenburg
3. Berlin 2
4. Berlin 1
5. Dublin
And if to take in mind those to gigs in Budapest and Moscow I had last tour they would go so ? Moscow after Milan to place 2, Budapest at very very end
So ? and what?s your BOB TOP?
There will be update in my BOB TOP after Milton Keynes (can't wait it :))
TheMissus 08-10-2006, 02:30 PM Excellent Idea Ieva. Of course Milton Keynes is gonna top the lot coz I'm going http://www.cheesebuerger.de/images/more/bigs/c008.gif
pookyac 08-14-2006, 06:31 PM Ieva,
Just have to slightly correct you on your cons of Dublin gig!! Usually every single person at a Robbie gig in Ireland sings their heart & soul out, but for some reason at this one they didn't and personally I think this is maybe why Robbie felt he was crap, even though he wasn't!!
heathersxp 08-14-2006, 11:41 PM I SUNG!! I BOUNCED!! :yay: I SCREAMED!! :yahoo: I SWOONED!! AND I TOTALLY THOT HE WAS WICKED!! :lr:
I SUNG!! I BOUNCED!! :yay: I SCREAMED!! :yahoo: I SWOONED!! AND I TOTALLY THOT HE WAS WICKED!! :lr:
Me too Heather, and everyone around me from what I could see....
I know after the gig a lot of ppl were saying that they found it difficult to get to Dublin, roads were gridlocked etc so they arrived later than they initially expected; along with some road rage!!!
So this put some fans in bad form for sure - maybe thats why they were quieter than normal???:re:
Sheps 08-15-2006, 09:05 AM i sang my heart out at dublin, lost my voice for two days after!.lol.xxxx
Rabina 08-15-2006, 09:20 AM seams i was in between the wrong ppl :)
sorry, guys, but i really didn't hear ppl around me singing, same was in Berlin Day1 - i couldn't hear what was going on in rest of stadium, but at very front where i was it was quiet - if to compare with Gothenburg
and there next to me were ppl who didn't know is this the first gig (Dublin) in European tour or not, so i suppose they were not that big fans to know all the lyrics
but hey - why don't you make your Top? I want to know how you rate the gigs you atended
joanne 08-15-2006, 10:10 PM on this tour this is the list...
1. Gothenburg (1st night
2. Berlin (2nd night)
3. Paris
4. Cologne (1st night)
5. Amsterdam (3rd night)
6. Brussels
7. Cologne (2nd night)
8. Berlin (1st night)
this list is purley on gig atmosphere alone and how good I think Rob was, if I did it for other reasons it would be a different order
Hollie 08-16-2006, 01:27 AM Ya, i think it is time that I move to Europe where seeing multiple Rob Gigs is acceptable... here I stashing away Piles of cash to see him once!
You ladies are very very lucky...!
mies10 08-16-2006, 03:17 PM my all time fav:
Amsterdam 06-25-'06!!! :D
anjarw 08-16-2006, 05:42 PM mmh so far:

02. Dublin
03. Cologne (08-08)
04. Hamburg (15-07)
05. Amsterdam (22-06)
06. Hamburg (14-07)
hopefully milton keynes will end up right at the top :D
RedLisa 08-17-2006, 07:10 PM have only seen him 3 times though.. and find it hard to say which is best and worst, as they all have their good and bad moments..
(well, 4 if we count an award show)
I'll just put them chronologically instead
1: Stockholm, 2003: Good:
My first ever Robbie concert, didnt know what to expect, and was in awe afterwards. Rob thought we were a better crowd than he expected, as his previous swedish concerts had been (in his mind) rubbish. (quote: (in denmark) I'm going to shitty sweden next, I'd rather stay with you...)
I had a good view on the front row, but far out on the right, and he didnt come out to our side much. The toilet area were far away, and i almost split my bladder in half...
2: Oslo- 2003. The last concert on the european tour, and the crowd was crazy. The concert was great, although Robbie looked very tired and worn out (had quite long hair at the time for some reason...) He'd been to a party the night before, and met royalty - hence the norwegian favorite quote; "I want to be the prince of norway!!!" I had better places than in Sweden, in front of the catwalk, row 4 or 5, and our eyes met a few times ( i was in awe!!) ... or maybe he was looking at my crazy biiig frizzy hair from 3 hours in the pouring rain.. I'll never know
3: Nordic Music Awards, Oslo- 2004 Had mid secound row places until the artist before rob came on.. then I was pulled out of the crowd, about to faint from the pressure of 5000 crazy fans with no control..Say no more.
4: Gothenburg - Sweden July 2006 - Waited in line for 13 hours before the show, had second row places, show was the best I've ever been to---- ever!
He probably saw my norwegian flag although he didnt comment on it (he had to, i shovelled into his face every time he passed by hehe), he did say something about norway the next day though, I've been told. The only bad thing about the day was that we didnt have front row places, and that it was a bit too warm for my arctic soul hehe..
So from this, I suppose i have to say:top 4:
1: Gothenburg
2: Oslo
2: Stockholm (cant decide on those 2)
4: NMA Oslo
Shamish 09-01-2006, 04:25 PM Anybody know a rough idea of the set list at Hampden had seen them before on here but cant see them anymore :S
shell 09-01-2006, 07:42 PM We will find out shortly :)
Shamish 09-01-2006, 08:57 PM We will find out shortly :)
Hopfully in enough time to stick them all onto cd :)
Rabina 09-22-2006, 07:21 AM so there's my promised update after Milton Keynes...
Cons
1) stress about tickets - will they arrive before I leave to UK
2) disorganization at gates - IC gate opens just 10 minutes before GA gate
3) it is cold
Pros
1) great company
2) 1st row!!!!
3) the best spot in 1st row!!!
4) David Enthoven takes a pic of my banner
5) stage is sooo fucking close
6) Rob almost all the time is in front of me
7) I get the picture of my life - Rob looking direct to me...
8) my banner is on official site!!!!!
so how do you think - what's my BOB TOP now? :)
1. Milton Keynes
2. Milan
3. Gothenburg
4. Berlin 2
5. Berlin 1
6. Dublin
what a perfect ending of my tour........thank you, Rob....I'll be happy now forever....:)

Went onto NeilTaylor's website - Very good site, can recommend it. Anyway i left him a little message.
Today i actually got a reply from the man himself!!!!!! V Excited - Anyway some of you may remember that there was a little boy who came onto stage just before Orson came on. He was a little star and was waving to everyone. Well in the GC you could just about see some silver hair backstage, so i mailed neil to ask if it was his son.
Here's his reply:
Hi there!yes it was my little boy!he wants to be a pop star when he grows up!!
Thanx for your kind words!!
Regards Neil xxx
Bless !!!
Replied that he's got himself one fan already... ;)

seznz 12-15-2006, 12:12 AM OMG I don't know if I can remember the order - is that important?
Radio
Rock DJ
Monsoon
Tripping
Millennium
Advertising Space
Make Me Pure
Feel
Me & My Shadow (with Jonny)
Strong (with Jonny)
Back for Good
Let me Entertain you
Rudebox
Angels
Kids
I think that was it... There might have been another song. Last night he ended with Angels & sang like a couple of lines of She's the one & then left
HelenH 12-15-2006, 02:44 AM And....
Come Undone
Sin Sin Sin
tvjunkie101 12-16-2006, 01:55 AM Thanks for that. If anyone can remember the order I'd really appreciate it as well. My memory is shocking!!!
HelenH 12-16-2006, 03:46 AM The ones with * - I'm pretty sure they are in order:
* Radio
* Rock DJ
* Monsoon
* Tripping
Millennium
Sin Sin Sin
Make Me Pure
*Me & My Shadow (with Jonny)
*Strong (with Jonny)
Back for Good
*Advertising Space
*Come Undone
*Feel
*Let me Entertain you
*Rudebox
*Angels
*Kids (Bris 14 we got a solo instead from Robbie - She's the One)
I'm positive about the 1st 3 songs and fairly sure Tripping was next.
I think Back for Good was after the Jonny set - but I just cant remember for sure. Feel is definitely last before the encores. I've checked my pics, and Advertising space is definitely after Jonny, and before Come Undone.
tvjunkie101 12-16-2006, 08:14 AM Thank you so much. I really appreciate it.
Cheers
