Hello! I was wondering how I can put a picture in a thread without having a link showed. I mean that the picture will show immediatly. For example in the amsterdam photo thread the pictures of Mon are shown right away and mine are linked. I hope I made myself clear:-)

And I was wondering, wouldn't it been nice to have the close encounters questionlist in here also? It can be fun to read answers other people gave. I don't know if it's allowed and stuff, just a thought.

Step 1 Open a free account at www.photobucket.com

Upload photos etc to your photobucket account.

Step 2 Log in to Forum

Go to the thread where you want to post your photos. Click on ''insert image''

Go back to your photobucket account (which should still be open) and click on the link of the photo you want to use. Right click and copy the link and paste it into the box - http://img

Click OK and hey presto http://www.cheesebuerger.de/images/smilie/froehlich/a020.gif

When you upload from your photobucket account :

Go to the ''insert image'' bottom row, almost underneath ''manage attachments'' a seperate window will open and written in it is:

http://

Now go to your photobucket account, select which picture you want, click on the top link which starts with url, right click and copy and paste that link into the ''insert image'' window

if you open a photobucket account and use the IMG codes, you dont need to use the insert image option.

just left click on the IMG code at photobucket to select it, right click to copy the link, then paste onto your post - et voila

I always save a picture to my file then upload it to my photobucket album

I noticed the x's Tinks. I think it is a problem with photobucket, not you :wink3:
They are probably doing maintenance or something else technical to one of their servers

I also use it for my naughty Robbie pix, and yes it is free.

You can set up an account the same as with photobucket, but you don't have to have an account in order to host the images (just remember to copy the link before you close the page down, lol).

Can somebody tell me how to sit a picture into the text .. I've tried, but I Can't make a it work ..

You know I find the pictures URL adress and sit it into the box there comes when I'm clicking on the 'Insert Image' one .. :reyes:

But when I've done that, it just look like this;
